November 28, 2017 Board Meeting Agenda Item #43 Title APPROVAL OF DESIGN-BUILD CONTRACT WITH McINTYRE ELWELL & STRAMMER GENERAL CONTRACTORS, INC., FOR THE BOOKER MIDDLE SCHOOL-ADMINISTRATION BUILDING SECURITY CONSTRUCTION PROJECT Description Provide construction services for the remodeling of the administration building reception area. Scope of work includes rebuilding of the existing reception area walls, replacement of the front counter millwork and installation of impact resistant interior and exterior doors with access control at the Booker Middle School campus. This contract has been approved by the School Board attorney and is available for review at the Construction Services Department. Funds for this project are contained in the 2017/18 Safety, Security & Emergency Management Department budget, project 4014-Security Single Point of Entry. Recommendation That the Design-Build Contract for the Booker Middle School-Administration Building Security Construction project be approved as presented.
